Groundwork Training is delighted to announce the success of the recent Family Farm Day events held at Agri-cation Farm as part of their Adult Community Learning offer.

These free events, hosted throughout the Easter holidays, have provided families with a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on learning in a farm setting.
The Family Farm Day offered an educational experience designed for both children and adults, with a focus on learning about farm habitats, biodiversity, and animal care. Participants were able to meet and interact with a variety of animals, including Kitkat the goat and Peggy the Highland cow, while discovering more about farm life through guided tours. Following the animal encounters, families enjoyed outdoor, farm-themed craft activities that encouraged creativity and hands-on learning.
The positive feedback from families has been overwhelming. One parent shared,
"We came this morning, and it was a brilliant morning, as my little girl said ‘best day ever’ as we got back in the car. Really enjoyed the events that you put on. Thank you."
Another attendee commented,
"Me and my son had the best time, thank you," while a third said, "We had such a lovely afternoon, my son really wanted to take a cow home!"
The Family Farm Day events this Easter holidays have been a resounding success, and Groundwork Training is excited to continue its partnership with Agri-cation Farm and Adult Community Learning to offer more educational and engaging events for families in Wrexham and Flintshire. These events are not only aimed at bringing families together but also at providing valuable educational experiences that can inspire and engage participants of all ages.
Although the Easter sessions have now been fully booked, Groundwork Training is pleased to announce that more family-friendly events will be available for the May half term. To ensure you don't miss out on future opportunities, keep an eye on the Groundwork Training Facebook page, where new event details will be posted.
