Sofa Deconstruction team get hands on with our award
Following our successful trip to Cardiff where Refurbs won the Excellence in Environmental Management Award, Matt, the Refurbs Manager paid a trip to the Sofa Deconstruction team based in Oakenholt to show them the award and give them some hands-on time with it. The team work hard to deconstruct old furniture to ensure maximum recycling. They were delighted that they were able to contribute to our success at Refurbs and are looking forward to future recognition for all their hard work.
Since commencing our award-winning furniture deconstruction programme, almost 670 tonnes of furniture waste have been diverted from landfill and more than 16,000 items have been deconstructed by the team at Oakenholt and we are massively proud of the hard work and commitment by the team.
